I am sorry to those of you who subscribed to this blog for up to date information on what is going on here in Lake Camelot. I will try not to fill the pages with drivel in the future, but the information may not always be up to date.

I have not posted to this site to cause a riot, but to merely share information of what is going on within the community, in an efficient and inexpensive manner.

I welcome an open discourse from anyone within the Camelot community, and I will limit comments only to those who are members of the Camelot Home Owners Association, or those individuals who support lake maintenance with associate memberships in Lake Park.

You may post with an anonymous user name, but you must use a valid email address. I will hold this information in confidence. I do believe that open discourse is necessary for a community to be healthy.

McMillan, the listing agent for the empty home on Castle Drive, has received an offer!

By the end of the month, we should have new neighbors rehabbing the house!

Change Comes to Camelot

The empty property has been emptied and winterized. GMAC will be listing it soon with a realtor, so get the word out to all the “fixers” you know, as they can get a deal on a bank owned property that could be a great investment for someone willing to put in a little elbow grease!

The rescue mission came and left as there was nothing they could use, but later another truck came through and trucked all of the refuse away.

Property Value Maintenance Plan Revealed

Many of you who attended the Annual Meeting last Monday, and many more who turned their proxy votes in, have asked to see the documents that were being discussed. What exactly is this “Property Value Maintenance Plan” or “Fine System” that was discussed at length without any explanation on February 22nd?

Officer Selection Still in Process

The board meeting was Monday, February 22nd, and there has not been a selection of officers to date. When this occurs, we will post that listing here.

Let me make this clear. Prior to the end of the meeting, I withdrew myself as a member of the board. Please take my name off of the website as soon as possible.

I appreciate those that have served and are willing to serve. I thought I might be able to bring a little balance and perhaps some focus to other issues such as road conditions, drainage and erosion, and increased criminal activities. As the meeting progressed, I became convinced that it would not be possible.
